The only card game I’m any good at is ‘Remember the code’ which you play with the card the bank gives you in those machines they dot around the place. Unfortunately my bank doesn’t offer much more in the way of card designs that ‘Field’ and ‘Birds standing in water’ whereas playing cards have a long tradition of horny pictures to make sitting in a darkened room full of men all night seem more hetrosexual.
Quirk Books new title ‘Stacked Decks‘ traces the history of sexy playing cards by putting little bits of text with great big pictures of naked ladies. It’s an interesting glimpse at how porn was legitamized before HBO ‘Documentaries’ and ideal for fans of cards, pin-ups or old-time style masturbation.
Oooh this book looks neat - I’m going to have to pick it up.
