TGP.com - at auction August 4th.
At Internext Florida (which I won’t be attending. Don’t cry) there’ll be another live domain auction like the one that gave rise to a number of big sales in January.
There a few big domains on the block, TGP.com (ahem - see below), Sex.co.uk and a handful of potent one word dotcoms (Affiliate.com anyone?). The full listing is here and seriously interested parties should check out the auction spreadsheet which lists the reserves for each domain. Some are surprisingly high, others seem like bargains - depending on how hard people bid.
For those new to the auction scene you should know that any domains which don’t sell during the live auction are then entered in the silent auction, allowing bidders to guesstimate what they need to pay in order to close the deal and giving them a second chance if they underbid first time around. In my experience almost every domain is near the top of its reserve ‘bracket’ and it’s not productive to assume there are crazy-bargains on offer.
