Coop loves cars and hot rod culture loves girls. Ergo Coop loves girls and I love Coop. Like all y’all, I’m most familiar with his pop-art styled canvases which are notorious for their massive size and vivid images but yesterday I found a repository of vaguely rockabilly photo smut on his Flickr account (don’t ask me about Flickrhoo’s porn policy, it’s deeply arcane).
Kimberly Kane is the primary model featured (a drug free, surgery unnecessary Courtney Love type if you’re not familiar) and her blog shows her to be smarter and more genuine than the current crop of ‘I’m-smashing-the-system-one-dye-job-at-a-time’ altards clogging up my inbox. Her penchant for talking down some of the bad porn she’s part of makes her extra loveable. A smart woman crammed into the back of one of Coops hoopty rides? That’s just sexy.

(You’ll need a free Flickr account to view Coop’s smut. I had one I didn’t know about via an old Yahoo! email address, maybe you do too? Don’t be fooled into paying for a Flickr account, they’re free.)
free for viewing, anyway - if you plan on using it to host pictures, and plan on uploading more than about 5 or 6 shots a month with your fancy 3 megapixel digicam, gotta pony up.
Coop r o c k s. His book, “The Art of Coop” is out of print but not hard to come by, and it is ten kinds of awesome. Very few contemporary artists have that instant recognition, and anyone who searches beyond his trademark cigar-smoking devil or buxom devil girls is usually suprised to see the freaky-deaky hard core works he’s more prolific with.
He also blogs -alot-

Rich - Thanks for the info.
Edco - ABEbooks.com will have copies for sure. Does any blog have a better tagline than “Cheating is the gift a man gives himself?”
