The tenth bloggasm is a milestone. Thanks to all the bloggers who’ve supported a wild idea based on good-faith and goodwill. I’ve been told that a bloggasm link created more response for one poster than a link from BoingBoing. An exceptional result for sure but proof of where this kind of collaboration can lead.

Hi Sam,
When I select text to copy from your posts (for instance, so I can grab this week’s Bloggasm) I get this weird phenomenon where suddenly the page reloads blank, with nothing but the Sugarbank logo. It also disables the firefox “back” button. Is this an anti-copy thing that you or wordpress installed, or some kind of accidental bug?
It’s not a huge big deal, but it’s sort of frustrating since it requires a person to make several attempts to grab the post in order to participate. Has anyone else had this happen, or is it just me?

You’re the second person to have mentioned this problem today. You’re in Firefox on a PC I pressume? I’m having no problems on my Mac using any of the four browser engines I have for testing purposes. Is this still happening? Is it happening on other posts? Let me know and I can investigate.

Nope. Firefox, recent powerbook, OS X 10.3.7
I haven’t tried it in other browsers, but yeah, actually it does affect all your posts, not just Bloggasm (I was trying to save a few from the archives and had the same result).
BadAss - email me about this directly if you can. I have a very similar setup but can’t replicate the fault. Have you tried Safari or Camino? When you say ‘Save’ what do you mean precisely? Please email me as the comments thread here isn’t the best form for this kind of bug-hunt. I can copy, paste and save the page fine. I’d advise updating your Firefox install (to 1.5rc3 is you can) and letting me know.
